Of all of my power tools, these are my top 3 that I cannot live without! They’ve helped me bring amazing ideas to life, create wonderful gifts for friends, and have fixed countless mistakes. If you’re looking to start with some power tools, here are my top 3 recommendations.
1. Cordless nail gun
Long gone are the hassle of an air compressor! They’re loud, bulky, and annoying. My cordless nail gun is lightweight, portable, quiet, and ah-mazing! Plus, I can interchange my Ryobi batteries when I’m doing a multi-tool job. It’s simply the best thing ever!
2. Sliding compound miter saw
This tool can do INCREDIBLE things! It can cut angles for a simple frame, to adding crown moulding in a million dollar house! This tool is one I cannot live without!! It takes some time getting used to if you’re not so savvy with angles and math, but fear not, there are plenty of tutorials to help you with that. This saw can also cross cut boards up to 12 inches! So its kind of like having a mini table saw as well…2-for-1! Can’t beat that!
3. Random orbit sander
This little guy is powerful! Between all the different sanders there are on the market, an orbit one is the best one to have overall. It’s super versatile, compact, and is forgiving on wood grains. I’ve sanded table tops, wood signs, stains on old furniture, and even shaped rods into Harry Potter wands for my kids. You won’t want to skip this power tool in your arsenal!
I just have to add, these are my top 3 but you can never have too many power tools. Have fun building your collection! And share your projects in the comment below.
